वन विभागया उप-मन्त्री माननीय श्री धर्मरत्न यमिजा यम सन्देश :—
“बौद्ध धर्म छु मात्र विचार स्वतन्त्र हु विश्व-या धर्म खः। जुके ग्रन्थ, ईश्वर, लिङ्ग तथा जाति-प्रमाणया हु न्हे मजु। अतः बौद्धे धर्म प्रातिशील जाने थोँर् वनेगु।
विश्वया विभिन्न धर्ममध्ये प्रातिशील धर्म धक बौद्धधर्म हे जक धायुगु। बौद्ध धर्मन क्याहे जक मति छु प्रातिशील विचार नाप दक ख्याः वनेगु।
थने छ्याक कारण यान बौद्धधर्मया उन्नति तथा प्रगति द्वारा विश्वया मानव समाजया अधिक सुखे छु: शान्ति तथा सुख दयेकें। सकल बौद्ध पत्र-पत्रिकांत थये समयकु हे अतः जुगाः बौद्ध धर्मया न्योनें येँमिल—थये जिगु हार्दिक शुभकामना खः।”
English Meaning / Translation
Message from Honorable Shri Dharmaratna Yami, Deputy Minister of Forest Department:
“Buddhism is a religion of independent thought in the world. It does not rely on scriptures, God, symbols, or caste as authority. Therefore, Buddhism is a religion that proceeds on rational and practical principles.
Among the various religions of the world, Buddhism is the foremost practical religion. In Buddhism, the emphasis is on practical reasoning and thought rather than blind belief.
For this reason, through the progress and development of Buddhism, greater peace and happiness can be brought to human society in the world. On the occasion of the publication of this Buddhist journal, I extend my heartfelt good wishes for the advancement of Buddhism.”
