Senior citizens and youth force

People above the age of 60 are being asked to stay home. Vast majority of our elderly citizens of Nepal are not educated to understand the content of Covid-19 instructions available in Google, YouTube and social media. They are unaware of knowledge on precautionary measures to be taken during this Covid 19 pandemic period. This is because of lack of education with god fearing belief system designed by cruel rules under Rana regime managed by Manubadis. This Covid 19 pandemic requires every one to be able to read, listen and understand international news specially from health experts and researchers in order to stay safe and survive. Now these elderly citizens are realizing disadvantages due to the gap of the knowledge and are now focusing on their grand children asking them to work hard in knowledge development as people rightly say "Necessity is the mother of invention". Late realization!!!. For example these elderly citizens couldn't take benefit from materials available from researchers and experts of Covid 19 . Most of the Covid 19 patients who believed on 33 crore Devis and Devatas, Mosques and Churches believed mostly with blind superstitious belief system lacked knowledge of true pictures of complexities of this deadly diseases. They were unfortunately overpopulating around temples, churches and Masjids and infecting people around and spreading this deadly disease. They also couldn't differentiate between misinformation floating in various print media, television and social media. They
died because of lack knowledge on such sensitivity of Covid 19 complexity ..https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=334652517564593&id=100030595421854
In the past these elderly citizens and their ancestors had always been brainwashed to think all the time on god fearing rituals and spend most of their hard earned income on manubadis and temples. They and their elder generations were banned from education.
The governing system followed the practices of Manusmriti ( https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Manusmriti ) . After decades of fighting against these Manubadis and rulers demanding for the rights of education, School Leaving Certificate (SLC) ( class ten ) examination board was established in 1951. Committee for initiation of five IITs (institutes of special national importance in India) was formed in 1946 in India ( https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Indian_Institutes_of_Technology ). This shows how Nepal lagged behind in education.
What an incredible horrendous event that the system brought to lives of our older generations leading lives without necessary valuable information in their brains. A reminder of human history we should continue to learn from.
Unfortunately that lesson is lost under their poor administration and social system and details of all minions who support such policy of keeping innocent people in darkness then while the world was engaged in running universities.
In the current scenario although education policy seems favorable, however, government has still not given priority in investing on quality education.
Senior citizens said they and their earlier generations led their lives like SHEEPs without valuable information in their brains under the god fearing command by manubadis.
Senior elderly citizen recalls :
Women of local communities during Rana regime and earlier used to be confined inside pigeon hole carved windows of their residences which used to be designed with architecturally rich wooden carved materials. Wood carvings of Nepal (https://masters-craft.blogspot.com/2015/09/crafts-of-nepal-woodcarving.html?m=0) are created by clans of Newars -- the “old people” of Kathmandu, Lalitpur, Bhaktapur -- gracing traditional architecture of Nepal since the 12th century. The oldest wood craft can be found at Indresvara Mahadeva temple in Panauti dating back to 1396.
People were honest, hard working and creative, however, they were silenced through mass massacre by the rulers including abductions of women and children. Mothers would teach girls never to peep out from the windows because of the safety measures against being abducted by people from the rulers. The pigeon holes used to be designed in such way that people inside the houses are not visible from outside road and people from inside rooms could see the road. Smaller sized court yards (chuka) used to be built in the interiors of bigger sized court yards in-order to hide daughters and daughter in laws of the families and keep them safe from being abducted. Local citizens used to believe ( as being brain washed by Manubadis ) that if any one learned to write anything in a piece of paper, that text will be converted into silent voice (mantra) by unseen divinely forces and would do damage to family and society. Thus rulers and Manubads made sure that these innocent people remained uneducated. They had successfully converted innocent local people into god fearing society making them focus on elaborate rituals most of their time.
It used to be trend among locals to educate young children not to use any good quality expensive materials for clothes because they would run into the risk of abduction or that family would be looted by rulers. In Newari language the elders would tell "punegu karpinigu ichhya nayegu thaagu ichhya _ Wearing type of clothes is outsider's wish and eating food is one's wish) . They used to come and kill any one found stronger in the locality on the spot . In order to warn the people from localities of the threat of being attacked they used to whisper song "Dese dako dangra khicha lonan daya syata - all the strong people have been killed using big stones".
The scene of paddy planting in today's world in valley is like this https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=127144749063792&id=109960084115592.
Elderly senior citizens said during their parent's generation it used to be practice because of security reasons that the bodies of girls and ladies would be covered with wet mud during such plantation time so that they are not recognizable to outsiders. The rulers managed by manubads used to come down in the pretext of helping in the field, however, they used to whisk away young daughters and daughters-in-law. Hence in order to hide the face they used to cover the whole body with mud during plantation time.
Elderly citizens of today don't have photographs of their older generations because they were made to believe that their life expectancy would decrease if they were found in photographs. Old photographs are not available to reconstruct the history of Nepal based on true facts. Writing history including true facts was banned even during the regime of King Mahendra.
What an incredible horrendous event that the system brought to lives of our older generations leading lives without necessary valuable information in their brains. A reminder of human history we should continue to learn from.

Unfortunately that lesson was lost under their poor administration and social system and so was any information about those who supported a such policy of keeping innocent people in dark. This makes younger generations blank about the past and makes them less informative for future plans.

Social distancing and digital presences

Government is asking to isolate elders above 60 years and children below five. These elders need more support from younger generations during pandemic period. The college and school going children should be all the more connected with grand parents during this pandemic period and take good care of the emotional complexities of elderly people at home. Most of these young siblings at home are technology savvy. They should train and make elders capable of using smart devices like Mobiles, Ipad or Laptops and social media like Facebook, Instagram, Whats App etc and get digitally connected. This is very important to keep elders' emotions stronger and their physical health. Psychotherapy becomes very important specially during this pandemic period which can be handled easily through social media within residential premises.
Integration of concerned stakeholders including health workers, researchers, aging population, youth forces and technology can solve lot of critical problems of Covid 19 pandemic.
